Thought process: To support development of Todd Almond’s character backstory, we needed the perfect worn-in vintage tee from his history. Inspired by the truck stop diner’s and locals bars that pepper small town USA, I developed an original vintage graphic.

Dipped In, Dragged Through

FW 2016, Personal
Difficult experiences are processed privately, hidden inside. The internal body gathers an accumulation of marks and weights. These decorations are as unique, expansive, and expressive as the experience itself. Reverse the process. I want to see the moments we were dipped in or dragged through worn on the outside of the body. I explore the building of visual and physical layers of experience, baggage, choice and struggle.
