OHNE TITEL pairs architectural shape and soft draping with a keen attention to detail in fit and finish. OHNE TITEL is intelligent design for a strong, modern woman.

Mara Hoffman

Mara Hoffman founded her label in 2000 after graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York City. Fifteen years later, the brand committed itself to implementing more sustainable and responsible practices.

In an effort to foster mindful consumption habits, the brand maintains an open conversation about its approach and encourages consumers to reevaluate the relationship society has with clothing. The company continues to focus on sustainable materials, processes, and production in order to improve and extend each garment’s life.

Kansas City Choir Boy

Project: GRAPHIC DESIGN

Client: ‘Kansas City Choir Boy’, Off Broadway
with Courtney Love and Todd Almond
Paul Carey (costume designer)

Role: graphic design, costume

Season: 2015

Thought process: To support development of Todd Almond’s character backstory, we needed the perfect worn-in vintage tee from his history. Inspired by the truck stop diner’s and locals bars that pepper small town USA, I developed an original vintage graphic.

Dipped In, Dragged Through

FW 2016, Personal
Difficult experiences are processed privately, hidden inside. The internal body gathers an accumulation of marks and weights. These decorations are as unique, expansive, and expressive as the experience itself. Reverse the process. I want to see the moments we were dipped in or dragged through worn on the outside of the body. I explore the building of visual and physical layers of experience, baggage, choice and struggle.

Everlast

EVERLAST BRAND REVITALIZATION
WOMENS/ GIRLS ACTIVE, MACRO-TO-MICRO
seasonal trend direction, art direction, graphics & print

thought process: strategic updates from MACRO/ big ideas (inclusive sizing) to MICRO/ small implementations (female empowerment movement communicated through messaging, modern and genderless typefaces, less gender-binary ‘feminine’ color)
